|This knife is made in the style of a Yawara Hand Stick. It is also a Tantojutsu Knife.
This Yawara is triple laminated from Rosewood. It is 32 mm wide at the ends, weighs
181 gm and is 18cm long. The blade is 6.8 cm. long.
The leather display holder has a belt loop.
The custom brass fittings are made so that the blade can be released with one hand.
Alabama Damascus blank made with 4 layers 5160, 3 layers 203E, 3 layers 52100, 3
layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 layers. Blade has been precision ground, laser cut,
hollow ground and heat-treated to 58-60 RC.
Honduras rosewood produces a timber that is hard, heavy, durable and very resonant.
